Grupo Niche — Cielo de Tambores (1990)
Music by Jairo Varela Martínez · Arrangement by Sergio George · Transcription/adaptation by Christian Valdés
A complete, performance-ready chart for "Sin sentimiento" — Grupo Niche's slow-burning salsa classic from Cielo de Tambores (1990), the album Billboard named one of the 50 essential Latin records of the last fifty years. Jairo Varela's wounded lyric over a Sergio George arrangement, it is the Cali sound at its most elegant: patient, horn-rich, and built to fill a dance floor. This adaptation captures the arrangement as Grupo Niche plays it, hand-engraved by Noted Sound for full salsa ensemble. Includes a full score and parts for two trumpets, two trombones, flute, alto, tenor, and baritone saxophone, guitar, piano (plus a cued piano part for leading the band from the keys), bass, and percussion. Clean, modern engraving with clear rehearsal marks throughout, built for real rehearsal and performance use — the kind of chart a working band can put on the stand and play tonight. A Niche standard, ready to add straight to your band's book.
